Classification of Rocks

All at an early age have collected minerals, lots of colored stones with unique names.

I once found a rock of a very dark color, with cylindrical ... an expert said it was "microtectica", the closest thing to a meteorite ... so I set to work in the bush and started to get similar stones until they filled a whole pot.

I thought you had a great treasure and decided to compare it with other store told me that if for me a pot of stones was a great treasure then I had ... that disappointment.

Well, now that I habreis of boring with a story from my childhood I tell you that we have three types of rocks, sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic.

Sedimentary Rocks

Are formed by accumulation of sediment and compression of the layers over each other.

It has often a laminar appearance and often contain organic debris.

Sedimentary rocks can turn white and hard clays calls, calls limestone.

eruptive rocks

Are produced by crystallizing magma.

And this can happen in the crust, which would call effusive rocks.

And in the depths of the globe, which would call intrusive

The minerals that form these are entirely crystallized, although not always visible to the naked eye.

METAMORPHIC ROCKS

They originate from existing rocks are subjected to high pressures and temperatures.

These pressures and temperatures are submitted by deformations of the earth's crust or by coming into contact with rocks rising magma bodies that exert pressure on them.

... Interesting right? ....
