billy

Between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries the French aristocracy packs available about wearing beautiful white dogs as companions and as hunters. It is even said that King Charles IX was so attached to his dog that died when it made the whole court was in mourning. These dogs, however, died out, but in the nineteenth century it was decided to recover, and Billy was born here, the exact replica of that famous race.

In their ancestors there are a lot of dogs now extinct, as Larye the Céris and Montemboeuf. As dogs trying to emulate, the Billy were great hunters, with quick reflexes, good strength and unerring sense of smell. Were used in hunting hares, wild boars and roe deer, hunters following on horseback.

The Billy is a strong, muscular yet elegant, very short and hard coat. They are invariably white, although they may have spots in the mantle, as light orange or lemon. His temperament is fiery, is an animal very brave and insightful fact to gallop at full speed for a long time. And there's something you should know before you get one: is barking.

To educate the dog must take into account its high energy. The truth is that there is a very good companion dog: is too aggressive, always wants to run, you need a pack, hunting. Still can get, if he provides plenty of exercise, games that allow unleash their hunting instinct (like chasing the ball or trace something) and a training firm that enables them to feel safe.

If you want to have as a pet Billy must give proper education. Otherwise go mad soon. Lucky is a very strong dog, so nothing will suffice for this bundle of nerves.
